The most important thing to know about me is that I have a wonderful wife Elizabeth, three fantastic children, William, Elliott, and Casper, a fluffy Golden Retriever named Linus and a Dark Chocolate Labrador named Nibs.. I grew up in Pelham and Ithaca, NY, and Nantucket, MA. I attended Riverdale Country School in Bronx, NY and Cornell University, where I studied mathematics and honed my belief in people and faith that awareness through education is the best path to happiness and positive change. The bulk of my time is spent teaching middle and high school students critical thinking and decision making through the academic pursuit of mathematics education. As well, I enjoy teaching and guiding people and institutions to manage their capital and help them achieve their goals. My focus is on sustainable investing, whereby investments are equally selected to fulfill financial goals and managed to produce positive change in the world - whether that means avoiding companies that fail to support human rights, or supporting companies that are the vanguards of environmental change, and everything in between. As I have done personally for so many years, I continue to encourage everyone, no matter who guides their finances, to consider the impact of your wallet everyday.
