I joined Platts in 2011 managing relationships with over 50 Global Strategic Accounts (ExxonMobil, Shell, BP, Goldman Sachs, Glencore and more) providing data and price assessment solutions for commodities and derivatives traders. My current focus is client development aimed at retention and mutual growth for our Global Majors clients. Prior to Platts, I spent 12 years at our sister-company Standard & Poor’s MI (Capital IQ) as Senior Director in client development for institutional investors (4 years) and as the Global Marketing & Communications head (8 years) in New York, Chicago and Denver. In addition, I am a global board member for our Hispanic Network (Adelante) for S&P Global, an Employee Resource Group (ERG) focused on talent acquisition, professional development, community outreach, networking and building 3rd party partnerships. My career includes nearly 30 years in finance/marketing/sales with such organizations as First Bank of Colorado, the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada in Toronto, Texas, and Denver. I received an M.B.A. in International Trade & Banking from Texas A&M International University and a B.B.A. in International Business from St. Mary’s University.less
