Dr. Chen is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Dr. Chen grew up in Vancouver and pursued a career in oral and maxillofacial surgery, a field that offers a unique blend of medicine and dentistry. Her fascination with the field and desire to positively impact people’s quality of life drives the passion behind her work. For Dr. Chen, working as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, gives her the opportunity to impact patient’s lives, alleviate their pain, and restore their oral function and aesthetics while pursuing a career that allows her to work at the intersection of surgical skill, medical expertise, and meaningful interactions. Education & Residency: Dr. Chen earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia in 2014. After that, she pursued her medical degree and graduated from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2017. In 2020, she completed her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University’s Medical Center.
