Having established a fifteen year track record of success across several sectors of capital markets, including but not limited to emerging markets, structure finance, longevity markets, fund management and investment structuring, Stefano Proietti has most recently put his experience to work in structure finance and bringing investment solutions to investors looking to take advantage of alternative investments. Based in Luxembourg and recognizing that many of the financial market standards and traditional investment sectors are outdated, Mr. Proietti is launching new investment vehicles utilizing alternative investments as underlying assets in accordance to the global trend for diversification from traditional financial markets.
Mr. Proietti’s has served as Medeor Financial Group’s Chairman since 2016, when the company was founded. During his tenure, Mr. Proietti supervised the acquisition and implementation of a number of companies within financial markets. Medeor’s two biggest investments were in private equity markets and longevity markets.
To this day Mr. Proietti continues to manage the investment process for Medeor’s private equity market global portfolio which has returned in excess of 14% per annum since its primary acquisition in 2011. In addition, Mr. Proietti is currently running Medeor's European division into fund management and European longevity markets. Apart from his industry experience, Stefano has worked in many other investment areas, ranging from structure finance transactions to real estate. Mr. Proietti’s academic work concentrates in the fields of capital markets and econometrics; however his professional career has taken him to most aspects of global finance and investment.
