I bring an unusual and diverse background to my investment advisory practice for individuals and families. After working as a ghost writer in the Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb research department, I was trained in its prestigious, institutional training program. I learned directly from security analysts and spent my days on the trading floor gaining experience with all marketable securities. At its conclusion, I was qualified to work with institutional accounts and became an associate in public finance; my group assisted City and State governments with their debt financing through issuing municipal bonds.
However, I enjoyed the full spectrum of investments and eventually gravitated to the private client arena where I could integrate all I had learned. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a CERTIFIED PRIVATE WEALTH ADVISOR® practitioner, my approach is to understand your total financial picture including insurance coverage, taxation, estate planning strategies, retirement goals and investment portfolios. We discuss your lifestyle, financial resources, and family dynamics to help articulate and prioritize objectives. Then a customized strategy and portfolio is created to address your goals.
Women and money is another area of my practice. My study on what shapes women's attitudes towards finances, investments and risk has led to various speaking engagements and interviews on television and radio, including CNBC and Good Day New York. Also, I assist women with post-divorce planning and investing and derive satisfaction in helping them at this difficult time to achieve the most secure future possible.
