I have 10 years' experience in Australia & Asia Pacific and 8 years experience in the US and Europe consultative selling enterprise software sales of (Education and Healthcare) technology and digital services.
Following a few incredibly successful years with an Edu-tech company offering SaaS through COVID, I took a career hiatus to be a caregiver for my Stepdaughter. During that time, I observed a gap between organisations that want to support people with disabilities and the companies with solutions that make an impact. I became determined to work with companies on a mission for inclusion, diversity, equity, and access. So, once my family was healthy, I started working with BindiMaps.
BindiMaps offers a competitive health-tech, ed-tech, and government solution to decrease the stress and anxiety people feel while navigating complex spaces independently. They help facilities scale, streamline facility management solutions (FMS), improve visitor, patient, staff and student experience and achieve sustainability strategies. It's also Australia's largest accessible wayfinding app. In less than a year, I've developed my pipeline from $1M to $14M with a healthy mix of enterprise agreements, local commercial deals, and tender projects that position the company for scale and longevity.
When I'm not working, I'm usually ocean swimming with Saltwater Swimmers at sunrise. Beyond the break, year-round, regardless of weather as long as it's not too "sharky" or dangerous, I'm in. The conditions constantly evolve and require re-assessing and evaluating throughout a swim. Often, the situation is physically and mentally challenging and requires absolute presence to make the most informed decisions for performance and safety. Similarly, the industries I've worked in have had long sales cycles, visionary services that don't yet exist, ambiguous and changing landscapes, and undefined decision-makers and buying processes.
Through ocean swimming and an extensive sales career, I've learned that I do hard things well. Give me a goal, and I'll smash it.
