My varied experiences from a kibbutz in Israel, the mountains of Niigata, Japan, the streets of Tegucigalpa, Honduras to the metropolitan life of New York, London and Mumbai, the city where I grew up, give me a unique perspective as a journalist. In addition to getting an MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester and MS in Journalism from Columbia University, I worked as an executive compensation consultant at Hewitt and Towers Perrin, project assistant at the World Bank and auditor of banks and brokers at Spicer & Oppenheim. As an immigrant myself, I find reporting on the lives of people who have achieved success, their personal stories and the challenges they have overcome inspiring.
