Serve to Lead - Determine what is needed, and work to implement it with the objective ultimately benefiting the organization, its employees, customers and the communities in which it operates. My objective for the businesses I have been involved in is to build into the business a strategic advantage in product and or services that is ahead of the curve and new to the industry. Implementation requires our collaborating with our clients, and not assuming we know more than they do. The seed of this realization grew when I was a journalist covering technology. Wherever there was a new leader in an industry the position of leadership was not built on "me too-ing" at the lowest price, but providing a really advanced product or service that gave customers an advantage.
