I believe the citizens of any country should have the right and should consider leaving the EU or any other treaty they have when their economy is in good shape, not when it is in dire straits, particularly when the country owes money as Greece does. It's like being thirsty in a desert, you start having hallucinations and becoming irrational. When economic situations are bad, radical groups begin to gain power and begin to propose irrational in-the-lunatic-fringe solutions. This is I believe and hope what the "elite" is trying to contain.
