Randy Reis is the founder and owner of The ReisNYC Team at eXp Realty, a prominent residential real estate team operating in NYC. The team is comprised of 7 Agents and Brkrs, specializing in properties in Bklyn, Manh, and Qns. Randy became licensed in 2007. After spending over 2 years each at Corcoran & Elliman in Bklyn Hts and Chelsea respectively, he moved to KW in 2012 where he established The ReisNYC Team. In 2018, recognizing the disruption that was taking place in the brokerage industry, he assisted then-CEO Jason Gesing and eXp in opening operations in NYC. Today his team of agents are all supported by a dedicated administrative staff. The ReisNYC Team is a member of all 4 MLS' covering NYC, including REBNY, BNYMLS, OneKey, and SIBOR. Randy himself is a member of 3. He holds prestigious designations, including NY Commercial Professional (NYCP) and NCREA (National Commercial Real Estate Agent). and is a member of eXp Realty's Luxury Div. Well known for his negotiation skills, honed during his years on Wall St, where he would negotiate million $ transactions daily. Those experiences serve him well as he applies the same skills in negotiating for his real estate clients successfully. He also plays a significant role in managing a Revenue Share Organization at eXp Realty, consisting of nearly 1,100 agents in 48 states and 7 countries. He has a strong track record of selling townhouses, in particular in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. In Manhattan, he has extensive experience in coops and condos. Randy was born and raised in Windsor Terrace and currently resides in Bay Ridge. Randy bleeds NYC, having lived in Battery Park City during his Wall St years, and also maintained a beach house in a little slice of paradise Breezy Point. Prior to real estate, he had a successful career on Wall St. Randy was a member of the American Stock Exchange for 25 years and the COMEX for 5 years. He achieved significant milestones, including becoming the youngest specialist and seat owner on the AMEX in 1981. Later, he served as a Sr. Ex. Official, and in 1990, he founded and owned Philanna Capital, an option market-making firm with 5 market makers trading his personal capital. Today, Randy wears two hats. In addition to being hands-on in managing the growth of The ReisNYC Team, he also focuses on expanding the global footprints of both eXp Realty and Brighton Bank.
