Peregrine Renewable Energy consults and develops commercial solar power, renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. We help business leaders evaluate the feasibility and economic benefits of building, financing and managing these projects.
We approach these projects as strategic long term capital investments in a property which, if done correctly, lower annual operating expenses and increase property value. Our analysis helps clients make the “go / no-go” decision based on the project’s financials and economic value.
Our experience has taught us that engineering and construction of these projects must be completed to a high professional standard, but the hard choices come in financing and project management. Therefore, we work with a company's owner, general manager, CFO or other high-level decision maker in the initial stages of analysis.
Our process for working with clients is simple. We provide:
1. Feasibility and Needs Analysis to assess overall project viability, and help ensure alignment with Management’s objectives.
2. Physical Analysis of the property to determine the optimal engineering/design, location, output and cost of the system.
3. Financial Analysis of the project to determine the optimal federal/state incentives and financing structure, including IRR and cash flow analysis. The objective is to fit the financing structure to the financial objectives/characteristics of the client.
4. Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of the system, including mechanical and electrical contracting, acceptance testing and ongoing maintenance.
5. Project Management, including financing (public and private), government incentives, construction management, local building and environmental permits, utility interconnection permits, solar renewable energy credits (SREC's), feed-in-tariffs (FIT), net metering, etc.
