Ryan was born and raised in Omaha and says he will never leave. He began his journey in financial services at age 19 after taking a Personal Financial Planning course in college. The attraction to problem solving and relationship-building drove his passion as a financial services representative. Ryan was heavily influenced by some great mentors and his grandfather who helped ignite his entrepreneurial spirit and taught him to build a business with people. Ryan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment Science and Portfolio Management, from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2009. He has significant experience in development, coaching, recruiting, and planning for clients. After spending nearly a decade as a field leader and director at a major financial institution, he decided to join Avior Wealth Management to continue to grow personally and professionally. The attraction to Avior’s mission and culture made the decision easy. Servant leadership, abundance mentality, and open communication make up Ryan’s professional convictions. He believes in delivering more than promised and his favorite quote is “you can’t build a reputation on what you are going to do”-Henry Ford. In Ryan’s time in the industry, he has found that you care less about work-life balance when you get to do business with people you want to do life with. Some of his most valued personal relationships were built from professional ones and vise-versa. Ryan met his wife Cara at a high school graduation party in 2005 and they have been together since. They were married in 2013 and have two amazing daughters; Emma and Macy, and a son named Rory. Although they were born and raised in Nebraska, Ryan has successfully brainwashed Cara and the kids to love Notre Dame Football and all Boston professional sports teams. Away from dance, swimming and a schedule of non-stop activities, the family loves pool time, golf, and quiet dinners at home in Elkhorn.less
