I spent most of my youth volunteering for non-profits; and growing up it was a place of safety and belonging to a community. Little did I know the values which stemmed from these experiences shaped my career which led me to Crewcial Partners 13 years ago and am incredibly privileged to work with mission driven organizations who are primarily community focused endowments and foundations. Our main goal at Crewcial is to preserve capital for our clients and take thoughtful risk in a diversified manner across asset classes, sectors and geographies. It’s allowed me to gain experience working with and performing thorough diligence on managers across opportunities as well as learn how to navigate investment opportunities with a long term mindset. Our client returns largely stems from manager selection, but asset allocation and risk management are also key contributors that keep us disciplined during periods of uncertainty which are often periods of opportunity. At Crewcial Partners, I started as an analyst covering hedge funds. And with my global travels picked up international equity, private equity, and credit. We invest thematically with a bias that is value oriented but strive to create balanced portfolios for our clients. I have a track record of sourcing unique, differentiated, often hard to access managers which have been the top contributors to client performance over the long term. My skillset falls under having good judgement, ability to manage relationships, not taking no for an answer (it’s usually not now), and being comfortable with being uncomfortable. These are the skills that’s allowed me to connect with the most impressive investors and like minded investors, and am lucky to often find myself in an environment that is intellectually stimulating. I am a member of the Investment Committee and along with our CIO lead our investment team of more than 15 investment professionals. I also play a pivotal role in spearheading our efforts in sourcing diverse managers and emerging managers. As well as have the opportunity to represent Crewcial on various panels throughout the industry to speak about our philosophy, current opportunity set, and our learnings and process. I also have primarily client responsibilities and lead 8 client relationships across endowment and foundation relationships.less
