Mr. de Lima is a senior member of the LCP Investment committee team on capital sponsorship and managing partner of a Global Corporate Advisory Division. An experienced 30-year financial professional who has executed over $3.5B in equity and $400M in commercial credit transactions including directing the investment strategy and portfolio management of the firm's proprietary asset fund.
Prior to joining LCP, Mr. de Lima was the head Institutional Asset Director and Operations for Coleman's Capital Market Unit, a $750M proprietary long/short derivative investment platform for 6 years in the late 1990s. During the past decade, Mr. de Lima has devoted his expertise to cross-border lower middle-market M&A transactions, including infrastructure projects in the APAC and LATAM regions. He specialized in strategic turnarounds, startups, value creation, enterprise scaling, domestic and international financial and operational due diligence and portfolio agnostic structuring for several asset management holding companies.
Mr. de Lima is an established leader-led financial and operational driver in the CPG industry. A co-founder and president of multinational food and beverage company, LaBevCo, a B2C holding company with organic and acquisition revenue streams exceeding $68 million in 3 years. Sold the company 8X EBITDA in 2011. Co-founded LDI Music Ent in 1988, a music content/licensing acquirer, artist management, and distribution division.
Acquired his master’s in international economics and finance at the University of Rutgers and completed a 5-year study program on International Business Law and Legal studies at Fordham University, New York.
Richard de Lima held FINRA financial securities licenses, Series 7 (General Securities License), 24 (Securities Principal), 55 (Professional Equity Trader), and 63 (Blue-Sky Law). He is a current member in multiple single office private member organizations and sits on several boards. Deep focus on financial and business education in underserved markets worldwide. In addition, he is a keynote and panelist speaker to many investment/business forums and conferences worldwide.
