As an investment and business consultant, I seek new opportunities, develop business initiatives, and implement corporate and business-level strategies. I also provide analytical commentary for clients regarding economic and market analysis which educates a large community of financial advisors and investment clients on the benefits of active investment management.
My career in finance started in 1974, when I began trading for a living to help pay my way through college. Since then, I’ve been an independent market maker on the Chicago Board Options Exchange; cofounded and led many financial firms across the nation; served as president of the American Association of Professional Technical Analysts; and was president, chairman, and director of the National Association of Active Investment Managers (NAAIM).
During my career, I have built relationships with a substantial network of independent investment advisors, financial analysts, and business leaders. This vast group of professionals continues to provide me with important feedback on the needs and trends of the financial industry, which I use to educate and generate solutions and support.
