In the 1970s, Piers Diacre launched his publishing career in New York, collaborating with commercial artists before becoming part of the founding team of Marketing Week magazine. He later established Centaur Media Plc's Money Marketing and International Money Marketing publications.
Piers then served as UK Managing Director for the International Herald Tribune, consulted for Reuters, and co-founded IPE International Publishers with Fennel Betson in 1997. Under his leadership, IPE grew from a single magazine into a multi-publication platform, online services provider, and successful commercial events organizer.
In 2022, Piers sold IPE to Dutch media company FD Mediagroep, but continues to serve as a board advisor for the organization.
In 2023 Piers became a Non-Executive Director of Media Makers Meet (Mx3), a B2B media network for the global media and technology sector. Mx3 brings together industry leaders and innovators to share insights, foster connections and amplify their and their businesses' impact.
The company offers a range of in-person events, including Mx3 Barcelona and the FIPP World Media Congress, meet-ups, digital products with exclusive interviews, features, research reports and video, a media-and-tech communities network, and commercial, content, and event services.
