Peter is a proven leader, strategist, and business builder with expertise in both the global financial services industry (particularly private equity) and the development and scaling of subscription- and membership-based businesses (particularly in the human capital/education space).
Prior to joining Star Mountain Capital and HedgePort Associates as a Senior Advisor, Peter was the Chief Executive Officer of the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA) the leading global, member-driven organization dedicated to advancing the interests of private equity Limited Partner. The ILPA membership includes over 400 member organizations from around the world representing over US $1 trillion of private assets globally.
Before joining the ILPA Peter had a 20-year career run leading membership- and subscription-based businesses at CEB, now Gartner, and the World Economic Forum (WEF), in both cases as a member of the Executive Committee. He has, in addition, served on a number of advisory boards, and has experience leading his own consultancy focused on helping companies develop and execute their business strategies. Peter's professional career started as a banker, financing aircraft in the airline industry with Bank of America and then as a consultant with Bain & Co.
Peter received an MBA from Harvard Business School (where he was a Fulbright Scholar) and holds a BSc. in Economics from the London School of Economics.
