Partha Chakraborty, Ph.D., CFA is a serial entrepreneur, inventor, part-time academic and op-ed columnist. Currently he is Founder, Member of the Board and CFO of Infinite Water Incorporated. Infinite Water Incorporated (IWI) holds a portfolio of US patents allowing us to develop, monetize and control most aspects of Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) market. IWI water generation engines, using thermos-electric technology, collect, purify and make available pure (“medical grade”) water practically everywhere at a cost advantage to all portable water alternatives. In addition, he is a Founding Faculty at Dorfli School of Design Sciences in the UK and Op-ed Columnist at IndicaNews.com.
Previously he was CEO of an early stage Blockchain 3.0 startup Switchboard Systems, Inc. (SBS) based on a protocol developed in collaboration with MIT Media Lab. His previous experience includes leadership roles covering all parts of investment management value chain, across multiple asset classes, geographies and client bases, including as an entrepreneur.
Partha attended Harvard Business School Executive Program for Senior Investment Managers, has a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York as well as degrees in Statistics and Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India. During graduate school at Cornell, Partha co-founded an Internet startup called Bookwormbooks.com. Partha is a CFA Charter holder and is a member of the CFA Society.
Partha was a Big Brother with the Juvenile Delinquency Program at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, NYC Chapter. Partha has already lived and worked in six different countries and currently lives in Southern California.
