Throughout my educational career I always found joy in tutoring others. Whether I had to explain a concept ten times or just once, everyone has this "ah-ha" moment. In this moment, the body language is always the same. Their eyes get big, a smile appears on their face, and they finally relax their shoulders. For the longest time, I thought I was going to be educator once it was all said and done. While at Texas A&M University, I was introduced to financial planning. After participating on two planning competition teams and volunteering at Texas A&M's Money Education Center, I realized financial planning was the career I wanted to pursue. Following graduation, I moved away from home and started my career with a boutique financial planning firm in San Antonio, TX. After 4 years of working for this firm, I decided it was time to make my way back home.
