I’ve traveled a unique road in the wealth management industry, which provides me with an intense understanding of end-clients, intermediaries and asset managers. I possess a strong combination of technical expertise and commercial acumen, which has allowed me to collaboratively lead transformations in firms’ go-to-market strategies.
My aspirations are:
1. Use my unique skills to supercharge a firm’s connection between investment manufacturing and distribution/advice - Having spent meaningful time at all locations along the asset management continuum – sales, portfolio construction expert, and wealth manager - both as contributor and leader, my skills sit at the intersection of clients, markets, and strategy. I’m adept at bringing disparate parts of the firm together to serve a greater goal, leading to commercially designed outcomes driven by commercially designed support models.
2. Help an ambitious firm build something great - I’m inspired by the opportunity to collaboratively lead with other ambitious partners in finding new platforms/opportunities to improve the impact a firm has in its partnerships with advisors/clients. This, for me, involves (1) contributing to the firm’s strategy in building smarter and more accessible products for U.S. wealth distribution, (2) building environments in which the advisor can benefit and thrive by more confidently/consistently utilizing the firm’s products, and (3) providing the firm better “at-bats” with every advisor/client with whom it interacts.
3. Make an impact in the wealth management industry - As the asset management industry continues to create products designed to assist in the pursuit of better investor outcomes, a gap still exists in guiding proper usage of those products - a challenge, particularly in areas where the products are more complex. I am inspired to lead efforts to close this gap, thus helping advisors not only help themselves, but even more critically, help end-clients achieve better outcomes.
