My practice is designed around tailored services and a driving desire to make a difference in the lives of those I work with and their families. My clients are mostly wealthy families or entrepreneurs with complex tax, estate and wealth transfer concerns who need a multi-facetted professional to coordinate matters with their attorneys, accountants and other professionals, to ensure they make smart financial decisions. I'm skilled in involving and communicating with various family members and stake holders, who often have different objective and goals. While many financial advisors claim to posses these skills and offer these services, few have the knowledge, expertise and team required to execute on this promise. If you need help in preparing your business for an eventual sale (partial or full), tax minimizing or mitigating strategies, multi-generational wealth transfer strategies, or executing a smart philanthropic strategy, the right team of experts is needed – that’s what I and Wealthspire do! Professionally, I have a strong academic and business background, combining 30 years of experience working for venerable firms like PaineWebber and Neuberger Berman, with classroom knowledge garnered taking graduate level courses at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, and holding an undergraduate degree from Bentley University. I have been a frequent guest and contributor to CNBC, Bloomberg TV & Radio, Kiplinger's and Forbes, and a published author. I live in New York City and split my office time in Westport, CT and New York City.
