Currently I work as a Software Implementation Specialist at Sungard. I work with a highly dynamic team of professionals who are charged with implementing and providing complex customization to the Adaptiv Suite of Market and Credit Risk Management applications. Among these applications include Adaptiv Credit Risk, Adaptiv A360 and Adaptiv RiskBox. My primary role during these large scale projects is developing software solutions that add to and often extend the existing application functionality. What makes this role immensely challenging is the fact that the only way of being successful, is being proficient in not only many languages but also different tools. I have always been a software developer, but knowing how to write software is only part of the process, because you are constantly faced with challenges in the client environment that you must resolve in a fairly short amount of time. So being able to think outside of the box and come up with solid solutions with, at times, limited tools is the absolutely most valuable asset of which I can be proud to say I have.
