Mr. Nicholas Millikan serves as Managing Director, Client Solutions at Allocate. He served as Co-Deputy Chief Investment Officer at CAZ Investments. He served as Head of Investment Strategy at Salient Partners. He oversees the investment strategy group which includes client portfolio management and product management functions, as well as the performance & RFP team. He joined CAZ after almost two decades in the investment management industry, having worked across the globe with clients ranging from sovereign wealth funds and central banks to UHNW clients and retail advisors at firms such as BlackRock, Salient Partners, and CAIS. His career has focused on portfolio management and investment strategy, and he has spent the last decade in alternative investments. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment themes as well as monitoring existing investments. He is also the client portfolio manager for the quantitative asset allocation team, representing the team's strategies to institutional and intermediary clients. Prior to joining Salient in 2012, he was an account manager with BlackRock where he served as a liaison between local portfolio management teams and institutional clients, including corporations, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds located in Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the United States. Previously, he was a member of the quantitative research team at Navigator Australia. He graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) with Distinction and continued his education at FINSIA with a Master of Applied Finance, both located in Australia. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
