I spent my younger years searching for my ‘niche’. I believe, at last, I have found it.
In those years of searching, I achieved much more than most women and gathered rich and varied experiences as a journalist, entrepreneur, manufacturer and award-winning exporter, all of which helped to prepare me for the ‘here and now’.
I am now a financial investor, in sole supervision of my family’s private international investments in bonds, currencies and equities, along with some financial products of private funds. For these ventures I use the services of two of Europe’s biggest banks, UBS Switzerland and Credit Suisse (Singapore branch).
The job demands intensive research and a learned perception of global political and financial affairs, international business practices, and the human condition in general. My early career path gave me a unique immersion in all three, with a US Master’s degree in Mass Communications and five years’ work as a news reporter and media producer in Thailand, using both English and Thai languages, at a time of economic upheaval and political turmoil.
After that, I successfully founded several companies, which I still own and operate. These include: A parent company for all of my ventures (www.Nirvana.co.th); an online technology solution provider for recruitment and human resources (www.YesTestMe.com); a manufacturer and online marketer of jewelry (www.LenyaJewelry.co.th); and a Shanghai-based company serving as an anchor for my business dealings between Thailand and China (Nirvana Shanghai Trading Co Ltd). In addition, Nirvana – the parent company – operates a special consultation service in the construction of luxury houses, acting as a ‘watchdog’ for inexperienced owners.
I am now proficient in understanding societal influences on economic performance. I have a close knowledge of technological innovation, and have an instinctive capacity for assessing both the quality of new ventures and their chances of success.
My philosophy for life and business has three main principles: Do no harm to others; do no harm to myself; and do good for society, for other people, and for my country.
