An excellent candidate with extensive experience in working with young, vulnerable people aged 16-25, aiding them with all housing management duties • At YMCA, I accompanied young people to meetings, supporting any applications and referrals. • As a Key-Worker, I successfully carried out initial interviews and risk assessments, Needs Assessments and recorded information correctly as well as attending Move-on meetings and Panel Meetings and any other meetings assigned by my manager. • I gave and continue to provide in-depth assistance towards helping young people adjust to life in a sheltered accommodation as well as helping young people to successfully gain independent living. Liaised with other external agencies to maximise the support for young people • Helped clients with housing benefit, JSA claims, college and employment forms • Carried out support sessions and residents meetings as well as debt management workshops and seminars.
