Kate McBride is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst®; and a CEFEX Analyst with the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence. She's a Founding Member & serves as Chair of The Committee for the Fiduciary Standard. Investment management, fiduciary, investor advocacy and media experience. Frequent speaker and writer on investment & fiduciary best practices and investor topics.
Earlier in her career, McBride was a broker, bond trader/underwriter and then an investment adviser. She built investment info services for major media & research companies, was Editor in Chief of Wealth Manager magazine/AdvisorOne/Wealth.com, Senior Editor of Investment Advisor magazine, a CBS-Marketwatch Contributor, and Editor of the Fiduciary Survey.
She holds a B.A. from New York University and completed the Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management program at The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania. She is a an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst® and has conducted 100 fiduciary processes audits. McBride is a qualified Fiduciary Essentials® instructor for trustees/boards/leaders of retirement plans and nonprofits.
