Mark heads the processes in helping clients set investment objectives, develop asset allocation strategy, establishes ongoing monitoring and review standards.
Growing up in Northern California in the '60s-'70s, Mark developed a keen interest in environmental and social issues, which led him to embrace the Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) movement in early 2000. Mark brings a personal perspective to multi-generational planning. Mark served over 25 years as a third-generation trustee on two of the Callaway Family Foundations. In addition, to help foster and pass on this appreciation for philanthropic involvement to his children, he created his own family foundation for which his four children currently serve with him as trustees.
Mark started in the financial services industry after finishing his BA degree in Political Science. He went on to receive his MBA from LaGrange College and was later an adjunct professor for two years teaching Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management. Mark has served his community in a number of capacities including The University of Georgia board of trustees, various committees at Georgia Institute of Technology and LaGrange College.
