Rob Roy is senior vice president, chief investment officer, and co-head of environmental sustainability for AdventHealth. In this role, he oversees investments for one of the nation’s largest faith-based health systems, which include operating capital and employee retirement portfolios totaling approximately $20 billion. In addition, he co-leads the company's environmental profile transformation, including all emissions, waste, and water streams, and cooperates on the company-wide ESG reporting. Dr. Roy, who has 30 years of institutional investment experience, oversees a 13-person investment team that manages over half of the organization’s operating capital internally. Roy received his Ph.D. in finance from the University of London's Bayes Business School. He earned a master’s degree in financial markets and trading from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a second master's degree in Sustainability from Harvard University. He received a bachelor's degree in both finance and applied mathematics from Suffolk University and Southern New Hampshire University.less
