As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Impact Cubed, Larry Abele has built the firm from the ground up guided by the goal of aligning capital to a sustainable future. Today, as a strategic partner to Euroclear and a provider of investment solutions and data to industry-leading firms such as S&P Dow Jones Indices, Columbia Threadneedle and AllianceBernstein, Impact Cubed continues to drive the responsible investment industry forward via their unique integration of impact into modern portfolio theory, and by meeting the demand for quantitative, factorised ESG data. Prior to founding Impact Cubed, Abele founded and managed Auriel Capital Management, a systematic macro and equity hedge fund, following a successful tenure as Global Head of Quantitative Strategies at Deutsche Asset Management. Earlier in his career he also worked in advanced strategy research at Barclays Global Investors (now Blackrock), and under the guidance of Rob Arnott at First Quadrant. Mr. Abele earned an MPhil in Economics from Cambridge University in 1996 following the successful completion of his BA in the same subject at Florida State University in 1994.less
