Kimberly Sterling a wealth advisor at Resource Consulting Group. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree with highest honors from Rollins College in 1981. She became a Certified Public Accountant in 1982 and spent 19 years in public accounting. In 1998, Kimberly expanded her professional skills to include fee-only investment advice and financial planning services. She joined RCG in 1999 and earned the CFP® certification in 2003. She is also an allied professional in the Collaborative Family Law Group of Central Florida. During her career, she has served in many leadership roles including: RCG’s president from 2007 to 2015, president of Zero Alpha Group in 2010 and 2011 (a national professional affiliation of RIA firms), president of the Downtown Orlando Partnership, president of the Central Florida Estate Planning Council, and co-founder and first full-term president for the Downtown Orlando Toastmasters Club. In 1992, she was named Woman of the Year by the Women’s Executive Council. Kimberly plays bass and sings harmony in a local band. She also enjoys woodworking and quilting. She lives on an idyllic lake six miles from downtown Orlando with her husband, Brian. Her two teen-aged granddaughters live about two miles away and visit often for movies, music (Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift), and sleepovers (less now than in middle school).
