I have been in the hedge fund industry for almost 30 years. I have been in a 3 person firm all the way up to a 300 person firm. Prefer the smaller firms because the entrepreneurial spirit begins to become somewhat muted in the bigger firms. I started out as an analyst, held a role as a PM and a PM of a FOFs. Currently I have found a great niche for myself as a marketer/business development utilizing my gift of gab and my industry experience. Have successfully raised assets in a plethora of fundraising environments for a variety of fund types with varying fund performances; good and bad.
