Frontier Strategy Planning and Support Division@Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corp Developing Japanese Depositary Receipt (JDR) Business for 8 years. - Issued and listed our own 4 precious metal ETFs (well-known as "Fruits of Gold" ETF series) on Tokyo Stock Exchange in July, 2010, using the JDR scheme. The AUM in Total is currently nearly 47 billion JPY, which is more than 13 times as much as the initial amount. Have marketing & promoting skills on our products. - Promoting JDR scheme to cross-list foreign ETF/ETN & equities on TSE in the form of JDR. We have done Barclay's iPath ETN-JDR, Nomura's NEXT Notes ETN-JDR, China AMC & CSOP HK ETF-JDRs, UBS ETF, and Blackrock iShares ETF-JDRs. JDR scheme should be essential and popular for foreign issuers as well as investors in Japan. The AUM in Total incl. our precious metal ETFs-JDRs becomes appr. 210 billion JPY. I would like to support more issures to come to Tokyo. Before I came to join the division, I have been in charge of the asset management business of MUTB as a fund manager and portfolio manager of corporate pension funds as well as public pension funds, economist and starategist on US market for more than 10 years. I have also experiences on product planning, alliance with global AMs as to currency overlay product, etc. Have experience of forex, derivatives as a dealer as well. Currently, I am mainly in charge of smart beta index business collaborating with STOXX on the creation of iSTOXX MUTB smart beta index series as well as marketing such indexes. We have Global/Japan/US Quality indexes as well as APAC quality high dividend index. We are planning to launch Quality with ESG, Value, Momentum, Min-Vol, and size indexes accordingly. We have done US/HK/Korea roadshow with STOXX visiting local ETF issuers or investment banks, asking them to utilize our indexes to launch their funds locally. We are also searching for local partners as to our smart beta business like Yuanta in Taiwan.less
