Kathleen A. Corbet is founder and principal of Cross Ridge Capital, LLC - a venture capital and management consulting firm offering services in financial and operational best practices to early stage venture firms, state and local government agencies and municipalities and non-profit enterprises. A committed corporate, non-profit and civic leader, Ms. Corbet serves as a member of the board of directors of MassMutual (since 2008) and was Lead Director (2015-2018) and as an Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair at Clearwater Analytics (since 2021). Ms. Corbet has previously served on the boards of BlackRock TCP Capital, AxiomSL, as a Trustee for The Jackson Laboratory and as board member and former Chairman of Waveny LifeCare Network. In addition, she has served as a director/trustee for the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, Pro Mujer International and Boston College. In local government, Kathleen served in an elected position on the Board of Selectmen for the Town of New Canaan, CT (2020 - 2023). In 2013, Ms. Corbet was elected to be a member of the Town of New Canaan, Connecticut's Town Council for a four-year term. She has also served on the Board of Finance in New Canaan, CT and the Investment Advisory Committee of the New York Community Trust Ms. Corbet has over 35 years in global leadership experience in the financial services industry – and served previously as President of Standard & Poor’s (S&P) from 2004-2007 and at AllianceBernstein LP, where she served as Executive Vice President and CEO of the fixed income division.
