Joe Velli is a senior executive with extensive leadership, financial services, technology, B2B, capital markets, M&A, crisis management, business development, and board of directors experience. Mr. Velli served as a Senior Executive Vice President of The Bank of New York (BNY) and as a member of the Bank’s Senior Policy Committee. During his 22-year tenure with BNY, Mr. Velli’s responsibilities included heading Global Issuer Services (ADRs, Corporate Trust, Stock Transfer), ETF Services, Outsourcing Services, Global Custody and related Investor Services, Pension and 401k Services, Small Business Services, Consumer and Retail Banking, Mutual Fund Services, Correspondent Clearing and RIA Services (Pershing) and Global Payment Services. Mr. Velli also formed and headed BNY’s Global Marketing and Sales Sector. Most recently, Mr. Velli served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Convergex Group, a global provider of Trade Execution, Investment (SaaS) Platforms and Technology Services.
