Jon is an accomplished strategic executive with a wealth of experience in both public-company finance and startup entrepreneurship. The scope and scale of Jon’s proficiencies, successes, and corresponding impact have expanded meaningfully throughout his two-decade career to include senior-level leadership roles at high-growth organizations in pet care and asset management. Most recently, Jon served as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Capital Markets, and Corporate Communications at Heska Corporation, where he functioned as a critical resource to the CEO on the executive team. As a multi-faceted leader at Heska, Jon was instrumental in the implementation and execution of the company’s growth strategy across a multitude of highly-visible roles and disciplines, as well as the successful sale and post-acquisition integration of the company late 2023. Prior to Heska, Jon spent thirteen years in asset management and capital markets at Nuveen Investments (TIAA) and Guggenheim Investments, where he optimized business units and led strategic relationships to structure, raise, and allocate assets across institutional channels. During this time, Jon’s roles evolved to include key responsibilities within distribution and product origination and management. Ultimately, Jon has found consistency, integrity, hard work, and humility to be the key drivers to his professional career, and he has learned he is at his best when presented with an opportunity to build and to influence for the better. When markets close, Jon spends time with his wife and children, pursues creative interests, and serves local youth. Jon graduated from Augustana College in 2004, where he studied pre-law and served as President to campus organizations. Jon is currently completing his Master of Business Administration at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.less
