Mr. Cusack is the founder of Gifford Park Associates, a sustainability management advisory firm specializing in the areas of sustainability finance, management & implementation, responsible investing, clean technologies, climate change, environmental risks disclosure, and the relationship between the sustainability and financial performance of firms. Clients have included a variety of multinationals, financial firms, and international agencies/govts, including the UAE, UN, OECD, and US State Dept. A key project was serving as startup CEO/co-founder of Innovest Strategic Value Advisors, a financial investment research company that sold ESG performance ratings of firms to asset managers and to corporations (now part of MSCI ESG Research). He successfully grew the company from 0 to 160+ clients on 5 continents, and raised additional equity from a Dutch venture capital firm. After Innovest, he helped rebuild the NY office of the Environmental Risk Consulting Practice of Marsh, the world’s leading risk management firm.
