Guillermo is a forward-thinking industry leader with a depth of knowledge and experience in ETFs. Gui is looking to reach a new generation of asset managers as well as more traditional stakeholders, toward industry-leading investing methods and into the world of FinTech.
Before establishing himself as the CEO of Toroso Investments , Guillermo served as the Head of Strategy and Business Development for Global X funds, where he contributed to the company reaching approximately $4 billion dollars in AUM. Prior to his role at Global X, Guillermo was the founder and CEO of two Venture Capital firms, MC Capital Advisors and GT Capital Advisors.
Guillermo was also the founder and CEO of Solex, a US food distributor for over 30 Spanish companies. Having begun his career with successful stints at both Bankers Trust & Deutsche Bank in M&A investment banking, Guillermo brings over 20 years of successful entrepreneurship, finance, and asset management to his work and clients.
Guillermo is a Business Administration graduate of CUNEF in Spain and received his MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management in Chicago, Illinois.
