Sammy Grant began his career in wealth management, first joining HB Wealth in 2002 from Arthur Andersen’s Private Client Services group. Sammy is an attorney, CPA, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, licensed real estate salesperson and Chartered Life Underwriter. He brings a wealth of educational and professional experience to the high net worth individual and families he serves working in a collaborative way to integrate all aspects of their financial needs and goals.
Sammy went on to form SG Financial Advisors before reuniting with his HB Wealth peers in a merger in early 2021. SG, a fee-only wealth management firm based in Sandy Springs, GA, was recognized twice as one of the fastest growing companies owned by a University of Georgia alumni.
Sammy graduated from the Honors Program at the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting before continuing his educational journey as a Double Dawg at the University of Georgia School of Law. He was named a 40 Under 40 Up & Comer in 2007 by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. He’s a member of the 2023 Leadership Atlanta class and also a graduate of the Wexner Heritage Program and Leadership Sandy Springs. A native Atlantan, Sammy is an active contributor to the local non-profit community and is the immediate past the Chair of the Board of the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta.
In his free time, Sammy rarely sits still. He has completed multiple Ironman triathlons, is an avid cyclist and always saves room for dessert. He lives in Sandy Springs and enjoys hiking with his wife Tracey and their three children.
