Geoffrey F. Cameron Jr. thinks in code, and started following the IT path from the age of 7 when he received his first computer, a Commodore 64. A few years later he enhanced his Gateway 386 to support Microsoft flight simulator by using a boot disk that modifies emm386 and hasn't stopped.
The natural feeling of hunger leads Geoffrey towards architecting something perfectly from scratch, or bringing a flawed system to the correct state. Not only to architect, but also automate everything with built-in security controls along the way. By adding extra value to every project, and setting that approach as one of the priorities, he established himself on the market and still continues to exhibit the same qualities.
Geoffrey’s early breakthrough into IT rocketed him towards becoming an accomplished senior level expert, with 22 years of experience in the Technology and Cyber Security industry. He brings a wealth of expertise, with particular strengths in areas such as Security Automation, Cloud Computing, and DevOps, among others.
As a solution-oriented leader, Geoffrey adds significant value to all companies and clients he is collaborating with, which earned him the reputation for making good strategic choices by applying a hands-on approach. With an abundance of experience working with the largest names in the market, Geoffrey is adept at leading multi-million dollar projects, including those of cross-functional nature.
At this point, Geoffrey is interested in helping clients who want to incorporate DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment principles and also have the desire to automate IT Security via linking SIEMs and Security APIs. He can also utilize his extensive knowledge when it comes to SDN Data Center transformation, migrating legacy applications and infrastructure to the cloud model, and the integration of Information Security and Risk Management into both processes.
