I have been in the Finance/Investment Management industry since 1994. In January, 2022, I finally stepped away from my professional portfolio management responsibilities at III Capital where I spent almost 24 years. I continue to personally invest in public equities, fixed income, private equity and alternatives. My background is primarily in the fixed-income derivatives markets (rates and credit), but I have also managed risk in equities, FX and commodities. Positions held at III Capital include Co-Chief Investment Officer, CEO, Head of Credit Strategies and Rates Portfolio Manager. I also served as an advisor to the New York Federal Reserve for 5 years on their Investor Advisory Committee on Financial Markets. I write for Forbes and my own blog where I try to educate investors on markets and investing.
