Frank has over 30 years working in technology within Financial Services. He has worked for major Wall Street firms including Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Bankers Trust and LPL Financial. Frank has held executive leadership positions in all these firms and has contributed in the building of true competitive advantage in their trading and investment platforms. He passionate in the value of running IT as a business and in building competitive advantage through strong business relationships. He has deep knowledge of Capital Markets, Investment Management, Insurance and Wealth Management businesses.
Frank has lead 5 major transformational efforts in his career. He lead the adoption of client/server technology at Lehman Brothers in the late 80s, adopting C++ and object oriented techniques before any other wall street firm. He established a broad reuse program which accelerated development and contributed to millions in savings. At Bankers Trust, his team redesigned the Passive Investment platform allowing the firm to process hundreds of thousands of transactions during Russell Rebalancing as well as building an robust data warehouse strategy. At MLIM his team transformed the entire front and back office technology platform moving MLIM from a C player to an A+ player in Mutual Funds and Institutional Investments. At Bank of America, Frank's team devised a state of the art global funding platform which integrated the regional siloed funding centers of the bank into 1 cohesive practice.
He not only manages large teams but remains extremely technical programming in multiple languages (Java, C#, Meteor, AngularJS, Docker, JavaScript, MongoDB, SQL) in his spare time.
