I founded Chapwood Investments in 2005 after about two decades at Morgan Stanley working with high-net-worth clientele because I believed (and still do) that there's a huge issue with the way money is managed professionally.
Upon opening our firm, for ten years I focused on highlighting the problem of athletes going broke. I was fortunate to have been featured in a Sports Illustrated cover story on this issue in 2009, and then again in the now famous 30 for 30 documentary, "Broke", featured on ESPN in 2012. You can visit our website for athletes at www.chapwoodathletemanagement.com.
I specialize in creating a virtual family office for my clients who have specific needs financially such as setting up a succession plan for their family, getting their personal finances in order from top to bottom, or simply designing portfolios that they understand.
Today, I still work with the some incredible business owners and founders as well as some of the best athletes in the country. I'm truly grateful for it all.
Some of the things I like to talk about most are the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of investments, creating efficient portfolios, and how investors can better understand what they actually own.
