I have been involved in the investment business for the last 25 years and during that period I have worked as a trader, hedge fund portfolio manager, risk manager, allocator to hedged strategies and asset raiser. I am currently working in the alternatives group at a consulting firm which provides overall investment advice to family offices, pensions and endowments. I work in the hedge fund group and have resposibility for sourcing, vetting and monitoring hedge fund managers and strategies. I also work with our client base to construct customized portfolios of hedge funds.
