The article fails to point out that the US domestic oil companies are cutting CapEx by $10B plus annually! Even at $50 a barrel they will produce significant free cash flow! Also, the article fails to realize that CVX production will increase with OPEC’s August 400k barrel increase. CVX has production agreements with certain OPEC nations.
