David Keto is Managing Principal of SRI Group LLC. SRI Group consults on investment strategies designed to help people build secure retirements through investments that reflect their values. Its focus is on expanding responsible and sustainable investment options for defined contribution plan participants. Prior experience: 2010 through January 2015: Chief Operating Officer for NewTower Trust Company, bank trustee and ERISA fiduciary for the Multi-Employer Property Trust, a $5 billion, fair-labor commercial real estate fund (ranked first in its peer group in the 2014 Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark survey). Co-chair of NewTower's two management-level investment committees,reviewing over $6 billion in total transactions during tenure. 2002 to 2010: Chief Operating Officer for the AFL-CIO Investment Trust Corporation, a financial services company providing marketing and investment-related services for clients including the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust, a multi-billion-dollar, fair-labor commercial real estate fund. 2000 to 2002: General Counsel and Chief of Staff for the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, a multi-billion-dollar fair-labor mutual fund providing debt capital for residential real estate, including affordable and workforce housing. 1997 to 1999: Vice President for Planning for the New England Aquarium with capital planning and project management responsibilities for the institution's $120 million expansion master plan. 1992 to 1997: Undersecretary for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Economic Affairs. Led the development of the state's economic recovery strategy and a comprehensive economic development legislative program to address job losses from the recession of the early 1990’s. 1989 to 1992: Special Counsel for the Boston Redevelopment Authority, Boston’s planning and economic development agency.less
