Dave Frankel has spent the past 20+ years providing executive leadership in sales, marketing, business development and product management at financial intelligence and technology companies in various stages of their growth cycles. He is currently managing partner of SLINGSTONE Group, an executive consulting and strategy firm that focuses on
developing actionable solutions for growing businesses.
Most recently, Dave served as chief marketing officer of Capify, a leading alternative lending platform for merchants globally. As CMO, he oversaw Capify’s overall global marketing organization and was responsible for driving strategies in marketing, brand development, business development and assisting in the delivery of company growth objectives and strategic initiatives.
Previously, he served as CMO at EDGAR Online, where he defined global sales, marketing and product strategy for the leading Bain Capital-backed financial data and information company. Following the firm’s acquisition by RR Donnelley Company (NYSE:RRD), he was appointed president and general manager of the data and analytics business unit.
He has also held senior executive sales, marketing and business development leadership positions with FactSet Research Systems (NYSE:FDS), Bank of New York, and the Oak Investment Partners backed FirstRain. He also serves on several startup boards.
Dave is a graduate of the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Political Science.
