I am an Artist. My craft comes through being a visionary, change agent, storyteller through 'Story Art', Author, Educator and Motivational Presenter. www.darbyhobbs.com My passion is in creating positive change, along with the belief that businesses exist for profit and purpose and that the financial system and the value drivers connected to this today are both a key challenge and opportunity to unlock. I focus on building networks, creating community, and developing materials and curriculum to help individuals align their hearts, minds and wallets for the purpose of making the world a better place. I developed the Circular Nature of Conscious CapitalTM – starting with Color the World in LoveTM. Moving in one’s life from Self-Actualization to Impact and all the colors in between. Today, I am authoring a number of children's books based on societal issues of which making the world a better place through love is one of the key themes. Recently authored a children's book, "Hockey Island", which speaks of Love, Freedom, Peace, Spirit, Kindness and Simplicity and can be found on Amazon. I have a number of titles in production, recent one being, The Tail of Grace & Kristoff (about a Unicorn and a Pig) and their friendship of love, hope and acceptance. I taught courses on Entrepreneurship at Boston University. In addition, I also was asked to create events on Impact Investing that I did at Boston University and also Babson College. Worked with Net Impact Boston to develop panel discussions and also present on Impact Investing. Developed courseware on Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Investing for Boston University and taught the former as well as mentored a student led impact fund at Bridgewater State University. I founded the Boston Chapter of Conscious Capitalism and serve as Emeritus Board Member. I am an Ambassador for the Transparency Task Force. I serve as an Advisor to the New England Impact Investing Initiative (NEIII) and am a member of the National League of American Pen Women. With over 30 years in the financial services and investment industries I have created, developed and managed change in highly recognized branded firms. In addition, I have mentored at Boston College in their MBA entrepreneurial program and served as judge at various universities and global impact competitions. Additionally, I have judged and mentored numerous impact students through various competitions globally (MIT, Boston University, Brandeis University, Turner MIINT, etc.)less
