I see the world thru Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) . As a Tidal Financial Group Portfolio Manager & the ETF Strategist for the ETF Think Tank I look to capture trends and provide analysis to our members. Membership in the Tank is by invitation only and comprised of fiduciaries and investment professional who seek to do deep dive research into ETFs. I post that "Structure Matters" to highlight that Wealth Management begins with an understanding of goals and process and security selection must be matched with client goals. However, Structure Matters also reflects a philosophy around a lifestyle. Markets are dynamic and industries, sectors and global growth reflect changing times. If past performance is not indicative of future performance than we must take risk and look elsewhere to capitalize on opportunities. ETFs are my access point! We often speak about how the ETF wrapper provides price discovery and has democratized investment opportunities for investors. Using ETFs, we work with Subversive and the Unusual Whales to unwrap how Members of Congress invest in stocks. Check out NANC and KRUZ and see which party has a growth tile and which party skews towards value. Maybe this will change in time as their outlook and insights change with the economy or monetary policy changes. This is certainly an example of how “structure matters”.
