Senior Human Resource Consultant | Specializing in Global HR Transformation & Crisis Management
As a Senior Human Resources (HR) Consultant, I have significant experience working with executive leadership to address people-related challenges throughout the world, with significant experience in the US and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions.
In particular, during my six years living in Asia, I was responsible for building and developing a successful APAC HR team, including the following functions: HR business partners, talent acquisition, compensation and benefit, employee relations, payroll and mobility. My responsibilities included providing support in China (including Hong Kong), India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Australia. I developed an expertise in bridging cultures, both within this diverse region, as well as with the US and EMEA regions. I provided direct support for the senior executive team responsible for this fast-growing region.
I have developed a reputation for solving sensitive and complex HR problems; in particular with senior executive staff. Developing and implementing comprehensive solutions to address these employee-related issues is what I do. Interactions in tense situations are my specialty. These issues may be related to one employee, a team of employees or even a large reduction in force.
From my experience in both the financial services industry and start-up sector. I believe clear and precise communication; especially in cases involving strained situations, are necessary. Regardless of the issue, it is essential that employees feel treated with dignity and respect. In my view, the key to successful relationships between companies and employees is communication focused on reduction of tension, improved understanding by all parties, and explanation of appropriate solutions.
My approach is to partner with clients to analyze concerns and determine desired outcomes.
