I help companies and countries accelerate transformation, connect markets, strengthen value chains, and grow sustainably. For more than a decade, I’ve worked with global development finance institutions, like World Bank, African Development Bank, and AusAID, to prioritize investments and design programs that foster and accelerate financial, social, and economic inclusion for vulnerable communities like women, youth, the poor, smallholder farmers, and entrepreneurs (SMEs), on projects including agriculture and agribusiness, textiles and apparel, manufacturing, and tourism. My analysis and insights helped the World Bank design $370 million in programs for Morocco and Tunisia to transform water-smart agribusiness, create jobs, and adapt to climate change; I was part of a team that developed high value agriculture in Lesotho, resulting in the country’s first cherry exports and GlobalGAP certification; I’ve created frameworks to optimize crowd flow at Taj Mahal in India and maximize the local impact of tourism income; I co-authored Ethiopia’s first national green manufacturing strategy; and I mapped local supply chains in Kazakhstan, Mozambique, and Ukraine, so international oil & gas companies could meet Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and local content targets. Prior to working in international development, I worked in financial services and investment management, with the U.S. Treasury Department, Citibank, and a boutique private client wealth manager, where I headed strategy, marketing, and product development, and created more than 20 SEC-registered funds, including several that invested internationally in developed and emerging markets. I have an MBA from Kellogg that provided me not only with a strategy foundation but also an incredible network of experts. The common thread throughout my career is the ability to view globally but also dive deeply into challenges and find solutions.
